Medication-assisted treatment, combined with counseling & behavioral therapies, is a "whole-patient" approach to treatment.
Opioid Abuse Treatment
We make use of prescription medication as part of the greater continuum of care to help people addicted to opioids.
The healthcare professionals at Vida Medica make use of Medication-assisted treatment (MAT). MAT is the use of medications, combined with counseling and behavioral therapies, to treat substance use disorders and prevent opioid overdose. Through these therapies, and coupled with our belief that every patient deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, we are able to take a "whole-patient" approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.
Prospective patients schedule an initial, 30-minute evaluation appointment with Dr. Castro-Zarraga to learn about the terms of care and discuss the protocol for treatment. A first-time visit fee is collected, which covers all office visits for the first month of treatment. Subsequent visits are charged on a per-visit basis.
Dr. Castro-Zarraga is currently accepting only self-pay patients. Please call the clinic today to schedule your visit.
